Creation Entertainment’s third “Salute to Firefly & Serenity” took place on November 21-22, 2009 in Burbank California.

Guests included Gina Torres, Adam Baldwin, Alan Tudyk, Morena Baccarin, Mark Sheppard, Yan Feldman & Rafael Feldman.

Creation’s “Salute to Firefly and Serenity” took place on October 27, 2007 in Burbank California.

Whedonopolis has a great “blow by blow” recap of Day 1 featuring Q&A sessions with Morena Baccarin and Alan Tudyk (with surprise guest, Nathan Fillion). You can read the Alan Tudyk Q&A report, and panels featuring Summer Glau (who’s panel was hijacked by Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk and Sean Maher), and Yan Feldman

CreationTV captured some great moments, as Alan Tudyk gets a surprise from Nathan Fillion and Nathan Fillion joins Alan Tudyk on stage, only to be surprised by Morena Baccarin!

Today's the day for CSTS Melbourne's Feature Event!

Today’s the day, Browncoats! Calling all fans of Joss Whedon, Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Serenity, Dollhouse, Dr Horrible’s Sing-along blog, Nathan Fillion, Adam Baldwin, Jewel Staite, Alan Tudyk, Morena Baccarin, Ron Glass, Sean Maher, Gina Torres, Neil Patrick Harris, Felicia Day, geeks, nerds and everyone in between!

See Joss Whedon’s “Serenity” and “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-along Blog” on the big screen! This year’s event will also feature raffles & door prizes, charity auction and fantastic Browncoat merchandise. Come in costume!

Doors open at 12:45pm for a 1pm start. Event concludes at 5:15pm
Union Theatre, Melbourne University Parkville

Pre-purchase your tickets for just $17 (plus booking fee when purchased via Dramatix) or you can buy them at the door for $20 (cash only).

Check out some of the prizes you can win in our auctions and raffle.

You can also stock up on Firefly/Serenity merchandise including souvenir t-shirts, Firefly keychains, DVDs, Books and more! All sales are cash only, and there are ATMs nearby.

CSTS Launch Party Recap

The launch of our Season of Serenity took place on July 14th at Loop in Melbourne. We had a pretty good turnout with about 20 people there to watch Done The Impossible on a big screen.

We held an auction, with a signed photo of Alan Tudyk going home with a happy winner, and a raffle with prizes of Finding Serenity, Serenity Found, a handmade Jayne hat, the Jayne “Troublemaker” T-shirt, an Alliance money pack, and a “Curse Your Sudden but Inevitable Betrayal” T-shirt.

By all accounts it was a great night, and promises to be even better for the Cosplay Event on August 4th, where there will be more auctions, raffles, prizes and merch on sale, along with discounted tickets to our Main Event on August 28th.

I should also point out, the merchandise and prizes on offer at these smaller events are just a sample of what we have for you. We have lots of the QMx T-shirts available, as well as some unique designs from a very talented artist. And trust me, there will be some very nice items up for auction at Can’t Stop The Serenity 2010.
